Rice Stock Is Still Sufficient at the End of This Year

Rice stock in Jakarta until the end of this year is predicted still sufficient. At this time, its stock is still available at PT Tjipinang Food Station, which is 35,955 with price of Rp 8,000-Rp 10,000.

Price stability can be seen if the price is the same over eight days. That means, rice stock is still stable

Head of Jakarta Economic Bureau, Jakarta Regional Secretary, Adi Ariantara said, Tjipinang Food Station has cooperated with Bulog to maintain rice stock and provide 200,000 tons of rice. With inadequate requirements, the rice price in the market will relatively be stable.

Meat Stock is Sufficient

"Price stability can be seen if the price is the same over eight days. That means, rice stock is still stable," he expressed, Friday (4/8).

Director of PT Tjipinang Food Station, Arief Prasetyo Adi disclosed that price stability in the city is supported by several areas in West and Central Java which will begin the harvest starting at the end of this month. Thus, the existing supply will increase and its amount is more than sufficient.

"Market operation will also be held in RPTRA, urban village and Pasar Jaya. So we supply continuously thus price remains stable," he closed.
